Study Rooms

Do you need a space to study or meet with a small group?
We have study rooms you can use!

Study rooms are free to use! Check out and reserve a room with your library card. 

Study rooms are checked out at the Information Desk. You need an individual or organizational library card to check out a room. If you need a library card, the staff will assist you. Guest library cards are available for visitors. 

You can reserve a study room using the form below or at the Information Desk. You need a library card to reserve a study room. Rooms can be reserved up to two (2) weeks in advance. If you need a long-term reservation, ask the staff about your options. 

Study Room Options:

  • The Computer Lab (Maximum Capacity 15) has 12 desktop computers, a screen, a projector, and a conference table with chairs. 
  • Pod (Max Capacity 2): Sound-proof room with a table and two chairs. 
  • Literacy Center (Max Capacity 10): 4 desktop computers, tables, and chairs. 
  • Conference Room (Max Capacity 10): Conference table, chairs, and whiteboard.

All of our rooms offer FREE WIFI access. Room availability depends on library programming. 

We have A/V equipment for check out. Items include a portable screen & projector, laptop, and Owl Virtual Meeting. Tech check outs are subject to availability. Ask about specific items or how to place a hold on an item at the Information Desk. 

All users must read and sign the Study Room Rules and Guidelines. You can sign the form when you check out the room. Once you have signed the form, it is valid for one year. Please read the information in the above link. 

The Study Room Rules and Guidelines is part of the library’s Facility Use Policy.

Food and drinks in Study Rooms:

  • A $10.00 cleaning fee is required to share food in a study room. You can pay this when you check out of your room. 
  • If you have not paid a cleaning fee, all study room users must follow the Library’s Food and Drink Policy. Food and drink are only permitted in the designated “Snack Area.” You may have water in a sealed container in all library areas. 

Cardholder Information

If you are using an organizational library card, add the organization's name. You must also add your name above.
Enter your library card number. If you don't know your card number, leave it blank, and staff will assist you. If you don't have a library card, you will need to get one before you can check out or reserve a study room.

Reservation Information

Select your study room. Each room offers different A/V options and accommodations. See the descriptions above.
Add a second date choice. Study rooms book up fast, so please include a second option to help us meet your needs. Study Rooms can be reserved up to two (2) weeks in advance. Reservations may be canceled or changed if there is a building or facility issue. Staff will contact you ASAP if your reservation needs to be canceled or rescheduled. Certain dates and times are blocked due to library programming and events. If your date choices are unavailable, staff will work with you to find a different option.

Add reservation start time and end time. Study Rooms have two (2) hour time limits. Check-out times are between 9:15-6:45, Monday-Friday, and 10:15-3:45, Saturday. If you require additional time, please speak with staff when you check out the room to learn about extended hours.

Acknowledgment & Submission

I have read and agree to the Study Room Rules and Guidelines. When you arrive for your reservation, you can check out your room at the Information Desk. Please bring your library card or ID to verify your reservation.
