Community Block Party Food Vendor Form

- Date & Time: Saturday, June 28th 11am – 2pm
- Vendors can arrive anytime between 9am – 10:30am, and should prepared to stay until 2pm.
- We have room for 2 food trucks along Cherry Street, and 4 pop-up tents on our patio.
- Applications will be accepted until our spots are full.
- The event is inside and outside, rain or shine.
- Our front lawn will be covered with a large tent for outside eating and music

Please read the following agreement before filling out the application. By submitting the Food Vendor Agreement, you are agreeing to the rules outlined in the Food Vendor Agreement.
- I own the business that applied for a vendor space
- I understand that the Community Block Party is a fundraiser for the James Prendergast Library Association’s Summer Reading Celebration, and I will choose to opt in or out of donating a portion of the day’s sales to the James Prendergast Library Association.
- I understand that this is a tax deductible donation, and the library will provide me with a receipt.
- I understand that the Community Block Party is a rain-or-shine event.
- I will be present at the Block Party, representing my work, and will not sublet me ruck to another business or entity
- I understand that the James Prendergast Library Association reserves the right to remove without refund or recourse, any vendor who misrepresents themselves or their products.
- I agree to comply with all local and state regulations.
- I agree with all signage and space restrictions.
- I agree to follow the set-up and take-down procedure. Set-up can start at 9:00am on Saturday June 28 2025 and take-down must not commence until after the Block Party is over at 2:00pm on Saturday June 28, 2025.
- I will not hold the James Prendergast Library Association, its agents, employees, or officers liable for failure to perform or fulfill its contractual obligations provided such failure is caused, occasioned, or impeded by closures or site location to do any causes beyond its control. Nor will I hold the James Prendergast Library Association responsible for loss or damage of exhibitor’s wares, exhibits, revenue, or personal property or for loss or injury caused by products sold or exhibited by exhibitors, directly or through warranty, express or implied. Insurance for such loss, damages, or injury will be my sole responsibility.
- I understand that the James Prendergast Library Association will assign street locations for food trucks and patio/sidewalk locations for pop-up tents at their sole discretion. All food trucks will be located on Cherry Street in front of the library.
- I agree that the James Prendergast Library Association reserved the right to amend and/or add to the applicable rules pertaining to and governing the community Block Party at any tome before its commencement. If changes are made, all Vendors will be notified by email.
- I permit the James Prendergast Library Association to use my business name, website address, photographs, or other material submitted with my application for publicity purposes, including on the James Prendergast Library Association website and social media pages.
- I must abide by the James Prendergast Library Association Rules of Conduct Policy.
- I will not sell items that are illegal to sell, distribute, or purchase in the State of New York.
The James Prendergast Library Association has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment towards any staff member, volunteer, Vendor, or patron. All Vendors must act professionally and treat one another respectfully, contributing to a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
