  1.  The Block Party is a rain or shine event! Due to weather uncertainty, the artisan vendor market will be located inside the library’s main floor. 
  2. Event Date & Time: Saturday, June 28 11am – 2pm.
  3. The library will open at 9am for set up, vendors should finish set up by 10:45 and stay until 2pm.
  4. Vendors may park in the library’s parking lot to unload materials but are asked to move their cars once they are finished setting up their booth space. This ensures there are parking spaces for Block Party attendees.
  5. We have twenty (20) 8’x10′ spaces available for vendors. Vendor space includes one (1) 8′ table, and two (2) chairs.
  6. Vendors will be distributed evenly between the front and back part of the library’s main floor. Our regular and special booksale will be located in the back of the library to encourage patrons to visit the whole market. 
  7. A vendor spot is $30, which can be paid after your application is accepted.
  8. Acceptance of applications are at the library’s discretion, and accepted applicants will be contacted by the end of May.
  9. Applications are due by Friday, May 16, 2025.
  10. The library will have a basket drawing at the Block Party. All accepted vendors are encouraged to donate a small item to be included in a “Local Artisans” basket. This donation is entirely optional. You are also welcome to donate your own curated basket.

Location: 509 Cherry Street Jamestown, NY 14701

Parking Lot Located: Adjacent to building, along 6th street. Entrances on Cherry St and 6th St.

Other Parking: Street parking is free on Saturdays. Cherry Street will be blocked off after the parking lot entrance, but there is parking on 5th, 6th, and Main streets, as well as a parking garage on 5th street.

We appreciate your interest in becoming a vendor for the 2025 Community Block Party Artisan Vendor Market. Submission of this application does not guarantee a vendor space. The James Prendergast Library Association can approve or deny any vendor application. You will be notified via email of vendor acceptance the week of May 19th, and a $30 payment is required by June 6th. Any vendors on the waitlist will be contacted by June 14, 2024, if an opening exists. By submitting this application, I agree to all of the information above.
